Best Spots In Breckenridge, CO
Breckenridge is a must see mountain town in Colorado. Being one of my favorie travel destinations, I have put together a list of spots you need to check out if you stop or travel there!
One of the most beautiful towns in Colorado!
Breckenridge is known for its beautiful scenery and amazing skiing/snowboarding. It’s one of the top destinations when visiting Colorado mountain towns. The winter season is typically the time the town is most lively and fun, so I recommend going then! It starts around November and ends about May. Around this time, they always have fun events going on, there are delicious restaurants, and of course, the skiing and snowboarding is a top attraction.
With endless fun around every corner, you will not struggle to find something to do. Whether it’s walking around town to explore the local shops or getting out to participate in the fun winter events, there are choices for everyone! Here are some of my favorite must stops :
This coffee shop is located right in the heart of downtown, so it makes a perfect, convenient stop! The environment is super cozy and welcoming. The drinks are amazing, and they have tons of options to choose from. They have everything from coffee, to cocktails, to lunch food. It is well worth the stop, especially if you are wandering around downtown.
If you are craving something delicious and sweet, stop at this french bakery. You are welcomed as soon as you walk in, the staff are some of the most helpful people I have ever met! They have tons of unique and amazing french pastries to choose from. I highly recommend the Nutella eclair, it was one of the best things I have ever had. They sell out every day so be sure to get there early to ensure you get all of the pastries you dream about!
Isak Heartstone is a 15-foot tall wooden troll sculpture located in the southeast corner of Trollstigen Trail, near the Illinois Gulch Trailhead in Breckenridge, Colorado. I promise, it’s worth the little hike, so go say hi to this friendly giant!

Marigolds Farmhouse Funk & Junk
This shop offers vintage farmhouse style antiques, funky accessories & clothing, and let me tell you, it’s one of the cutest stores I have ever been in. The inventory is constantly changing and everytime I go back they have better “junk” than before!
If you’re looking for a sweet or savory snack to grab while you are out shopping, I cannot recommend this place more. It is the cutest stand right in the middle of downtown Breckenridge. Beware, there is always a pretty long line, but it’s well worth the wait! If you go, I highly recommend the lemon soufflé crepe, it is absolutely delicious, I get it every time!
